Connecticut Metallurgical, Inc. is a member of The MMR Group, Inc., a consortium of three affiliate Labs that specialize in Materials Testing, each with its own staff and laboratory to collectively serve diverse markets and locations.

Each of our affiliate Labs provide a variety of services as well as comprehensive testing plans to suit your particular requirements.

CMI is an employee owned (ESOP) Materials Testing Company and we have been providing Professional Testing Services for over 30 years.

As an independent testing laboratory we provide routine quality assurance and conformity assessment testing services to industry. Our test specialists provide a wide range of testing expertise and are committed to customer satisfaction.

As a group we have extensive experience with metals, and non-metals, such as plastics, ceramics and composites. We provide services to the Aerospace, Nuclear, Defense, Transportation, Automotive, and Commercial Manufacturing Industries, as well as to Municipalities and the Power Generation Industry. We have multiple accreditations and numerous independent vendor approvals.
